SPRING BREAK!!!!!

 I'm sooooooooo happy it's finally spring break!! We get to stay up late, sleep in, and have noooooo HOMEWORK:)!!!!We are going to the beach Wed. through Fri. Konrad's birthday is on Friday and it's going to be soooo fun! He's turning 2, and acts like it already. He is getting soo big I can hardly believe it.

THE FLU IS AWFUL

As the title states, the flu is awful. I got it this week. Everybody at school has it. 11 people, including me, were absent on Friday, and my teacher postponed some assignments. That's half the class. It doesn't help that we have an assignment due tomorrow, which includes a poster, and a memorized, 5 body paragraph speech. Also, we have a slideshow due in a week, on a novel. I read the novel, Little Women. It is such a good book. I hope nobody gets it wherever you are, California, Texas, Florida, or Alabama.

This week update

             Hurricane Michael came on Wed. School got out Tuesday afternoon and until the 22nd. We have been cleaning up ever since the hurricane. ON thursday, we cleaned our house and then on fri., we cleaned my nana's yard. On sat. My nana and I went to the Luis's to help clean up from Michael. One barn was torn halfway down. We worked on finding screws or anything sharp  around the barn. It was the easiest job, but one of the most important. If one of the cows ate something sharp, let's say a metal screw, the screw would cut through one of the stomachs (it has 4) and kill the cow. We saw maybe 12 cows just being herded to the barn we were at. The workers rounding them up were on quads so it was fun just watching them herd the cows. Today (sunday) My nana, my cousin Mia, Mia's mom my aunt Kasie, and I went to another farm to help with the fallen trees. My aunt Kasie left to go check on her dogs and then we went to another farm in Florida to do the same thing. We weren't a big help there. I now have a sunburn on my neck. (even though we had sunscreen.)
            Dallas, my dad, grandpa (dear), and uncles all went deer hunting in Wyoming tuesday morning. Dallas was the only one that got a good elk tag in a good spot. They haven't caught anything yet, but we're crossing our fingers. My dad and uncles went fishing yesterday while Dallas and Dear stayed in the truck. My dad caught a monster rainbow trout 19.5 inches.
he also fell into the freezing cold water down to his neck. (he had waders on luckily though)
          Remi and I are best buds. I have taught her to sit, come, stay sort of, shake and high five sometimes, down sometimes, and crawl also sometimes. She doesn't sleep in my bed but sleeps close to my bed. She sometimes doesn't come to me when we're outside though. She goes into the golf coarse or into the neighbors yards. She comes to my mom though. She says she can sense the fear in my voice. Remi used to chase rabbits until she lost them but she chased them all away. She also chases squirrles but I'm actually glad they can climb trees. My teacher told us a story about how someone had their dog in other neighbor's yards so they called the pet controll thingee. They told her if she goes into other people's yards again, I forgot but something would happen. I guess that is what I'm afraid of. Remi is not not not a people dog. She doesn't like it when people get up close to her unless she knows them. If she goes somewhere with us, she doesn't bark at people, but if someone comes into our house, then she barks at them. Otherwise, she is a very quiet dog. She loves to be around people though. She just doesn't like them touching her. When she is alone, she chews, and barks. She bent the wire on her crate onetime. We play this game, that when I get close to her fast, she gets into her play stance, and runs into a big circle and then comes right back. She can jump really really high. She can jump on anyone's bed, (including my parents) and onto the trampoline.

R.V. Family road trip.

       My family and I went on a really exciting road trip in a R.V. We went to Georgia, Tennessee, Maryland, Pensilvania, West Virginia, New York, Kentucky, and Ohio. We went to drop of our van at my Aunt Anna's house. We got to play with our cousins there. In New York we saw the Sacred Grove,  Niagara Falls, The Hill Cumorah, The Printing Press, and many other places. In Ohio we saw the Kirtland temple. It was very fun. After, I wrote three pages in my journal. We also got souvenirs in the places we went. I got rocks from all the places, but in the Sacred Grove and the Kirtland Temple, my dad picked me a pretty white flower in the Sacred Grove, and I picked a pretty purple one at the temple.

Dallas, my dad and I went deep sea fishing. i forgot to use sunscreen so I got cooked in the 10 hours in the sun. we saw a lot of dolphins. Dallas touched one and I fed fish in their mouths. They opened their mouths in a smile and jumped out of the water.  We went in the water at the shell island. It was fun and we found a sand dollar and a lot of crabs.  my dad caught a remora.

Family!!!

Our house was full of family and fun this last month. My cousin Emma Jane and my aunt Courtney came to Alabama as a surprise. It was very fun. We went in my nana's pool full of bubbles with them and lots of other stuff. We also played dress up to dress up Hippy.

My cousins Wade and Ellie came to with my grandparents, aunt, and uncles. It was also very fun. We went to the beach. We saw dolphins, flew the drone, and made things out of sand like sand castles and tunnels ect. We were very sad when all of our family went back to California, and Texas.

My other cousin Abby is coming to Alabama in a few weeks. We will see a Josh Turner concert with her.

Our other cousins, Luke, Darby, Baylie, Paisley, and Ivy, are also coming to Alabama with my aunt Brooke, and uncle Jason. I cannot wait for them to come in July!!!

Unlike other people, I like school.

On Monday, I will have a Career Day for school. I am going with my dad (a dentist) until lunch. It will be really fun. I did a math tournament on Saturday and I won third place in all the 4th grade and in some of the county. My friend Kelsey got Second place. We also did a Science Olympiad. My category was leaf and tree finder. Although my friend Nova and I never won anything, we still had a good time. So now you can kind of see, why I like school.
